STEPHEN GREGORY SMITH AND ELEASHA GAMBLE
EBONY & IVORY: THE SECOND COMING
They’re back! Helen Hayes Award-winner Stephen Gregory Smith and Eleasha Gamble bring audiences part two of their cabaret on love and friendship.
Sure...that's what the website says...this is what I say...
This cabaret features the vocal talents of yours truly, Miss Eleasha soon-to-be-a-star Gamble, Steve McWilliams on Guitar and Vocals, and Jenny Cartney on Vocals/Piano/Flute.
If you missed last year's show, well...this is not yo' mama's cabaret. We will be sangin' anything from Prince to Mighty Wind to Indigo Girls to Sondheim. I can promise that you will see/hear:
Dismembered limbs, folk songs, Patti LuPone dish, Dog sing alongs, Chucky dolls, Cowboy hats, Mexican hats, skulls, and belting, belting, BELTING!
Above all, you will hear some really gorgeous songs, and have a good time. I hope. This piece, in contrast to last year's, reflects our personalities much more, I think. I dunno.
Bottom line- what else are you gonna do on Friday and Saturday of November 4th and 5th?
