Call for Actors for "Fifteen Rounds with Jackson Pollock"Hyacinth Theater Co. is seeking nonunion theater actors for a production of a new full-length play, "Fifteen Rounds with Jackson Pollock," written by Bruce Clarke and directed by Delia Taylor. The play traces the artistic rise and fall of the expressionistic painter. The show will run July 21-Aug. 8 at Warehouse Theater, 1021 7th St, NW, Washington, DC.
Auditions will be held Monday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 6, 7-10 p.m., at Warehouse Theater Café (same address - 7th and New York Ave.). Rehearsals begin the week of June 6. No monologues required. Sides will be provided at audition. Copies of the manuscript available for perusal at audition.
Roles are paid by modest stipend.
Seeking five males, ages 25-55, and two females, ages 25-45.
Hyacinth Theater Co. was founded in 2002. Last summer it launched with the world premiere of "Love in Exile," about the life of V.I. Lenin.
